We congratulate Professor Stefan Borgwardt on being named a Clarivate Highly Cited Researcher for the sixth year in a row. This renewed selection is a tremendous achievement and underlines the importance of his scientific work and the high standing of his Translational Psychiatry lab in the field. This award comes at no surprise, as his lab has been involved in several international projects with the potential for high impact in psychiatry.
This award is given to the most influential experts across scientific research fields who have been within the top percentile (1%) of citations. An in-depth analysis of the nominees’ work ensured that scientific misconduct has not been performed by the nominated researchers. This increases trust in the resulting list and in turn in science.
